Pysanky Ukrainian egg decorating workshop for beginners run by artist Helena Orlowski and Nataliya Cummings in beautiful settings of Olia Hercules home in East London. Learn how to make a traditional wax-resist Ukrainian Easter Egg. An age old tradition of egg decoration in celebration of Spring, and with the arrival of Christianity, Ukrainians now make this exquisite egg art in Celebration of Easter. 3 hour long workshop hosted by Olia Hercules in her beautiful house includes a gentle introduction to the Ukrainian Pysanky tradition. All materials are supplied along with traditional Ukrainian Herbal tea and delicious ukrainian feast prepared by Olia Hercules, suitable for vegetarians. £125 per person all inclusive. Spaces are very limited. 10% of profits will be donated to grassroots organisations in Ukraine.
